MINUTES OF A MEETING OF DUNHAM HILL & HAPSFORD PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON THE 7TH NOVEMBER 2017 AT 7.40PM IN THE VILLAGE HALL

MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON THE 3RD OCTOBER 2017

ARISING FROM MINUTES.

 

 

 

  1. Travellers – No information has been received regarding the appeal and Council request a meeting with CW&C.  Sub-committee consisting of Chairman, Vice chairman, Cllrs R & C Fielding to attend this meeting. High Court has adjourned and requested further information concerning residents on Paddock site.
  2. Landfill site – Improvement of covering of vehicles has been seen but Clerk had had to report of litter on both A56 and A5117.
  3. Gowy Partnership – Minutes of meeting held on 19th September passed to all councillors.  Next meeting will be on 18th December at Barrow Village Hall at 7pm.
  4. Ground Maintenance – Contract has been passed to CW&C. Cllrs C & R Fielding to take up the authorisation of this contract.
  5. Windfarm – Report given of the meeting held on 13/10/17.
  6. Voneous mast – Oldfield Trust have not agreed to the placing of this mast.

 

 

 

CLERKS REPORT.

 

 

 

  1. Police – All bulletins passed to councillors
  2. Defibrillator, Hapsford – New box has been acquired and we are awaiting installation
  3. Dog litter bin, Talbot Road – CW&C have seen local residents who are against having such a bin.
  4. Gullies and Drains on A56 – Clerk had site meeting with CW&C.  The road will be brushed as soon as possible. Manley Lane had been resurfaced and Clerk had requested that resurfacing be continued to the junction of Village Road.
  5. Fly tipping, Barrow Lane – This has occurred on two occasions the second of which resulted in the road being closed.  The majority of which was found to be asbestos.
  6. Hapsford, Garage doors and planters – Clerk has asked that the garage doors be painted but new planters will not be provided due to their cost.
  7. Bus shelter, Wheatsheaf – Damage to roof during recent gales.  This has now been repaired.

 

 

 

CORRESPONDENCE.

 

 

 

  1. Police & CW&C – Invitation received from Police & Crime Commissioner to attend a meeting at The Civic Hall, Ellesmere Port on 21/11/17 at 6.30pm.
  2. Boundary changes – Parish – Name put forward by other parishes is ‘sandstone’ and Barrow to be included.  Parliamentary Ward – We agree to boundaries.
  3. CW&C Road closure A5117 – Works were cancelled.
