MINUTES OF A MEETING OF DUNHAM HILL & HAPSFORD PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON THE 6TH JUNE 2017 AT 7.40PM IN THE VILLAGE HALL

MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON THE 2nd MAY 2017

 

 

 

Proposed Cllr Roberts Seconded Cllr Tiplady that “Minutes of the meeting held on the 2/5/17 be signed as a true and correct record.” All present in favour

 

 

 

ARISING FROM MINUTES.

 

  1. Travellers – Letter received from CW&C outlining the present position with regard to the four sites.
  2. Landfill site, Mickle Trafford – Cllr. Welcomed Mr M. Hughes of FCC Environmental.  Cllrs pointed out the troubles with vehicles both leaving and delivering to the site, shedding plastic and paper along the road. He agreed that all vehicles should be sheeted and if councillors could take vehicle numbers and report back to him on 01244 301887, he will investigate.
  3. Wind Farm – Agenda received for the next meeting which will take place on Friday 16 June at 6pm at Castle Park.

 

 

 

CLERKS REPORT.

 

  1. Police – Bulletins passed to all councillors. Informed by the Police & Crime commissioner that his office will be transferred to Stockton Heath Police station from 2/6/17. Speedwatch meeting was held on 18/5/17 at Mickle Trafford Police Station
  2. Grass cutting, A56 – This has now been carried out.
  3. Litter picking – Chairman and Vice Chairman are putting together a scheme for the villages.
  4. Vehicles on pavements – Police have been requested to look into the problem.
  5. Hapsford – Hedge cut and Clerk had requested Nursery to remove advertising sign.
  6. Volvo – Reg. LS56XXA – Clerk had reported to police, CW&C and DVLA requesting its removal.

 

 

 

CORRESPONDENCE.

 

  1. CW&C Road Closure – Nortons Lane will be closed from 6/6/17 for 3 days
  2. Gowy Partnership – Minutes of last meeting had been received and circulated and date of next meeting is 19/9/17 at Barrow Village Hall
  3. CW&C Grant Applications – A new system is being introduced for churchyard maintenance.  Clerk will apply new rules when requesting grant at the end of the year.
  4. Cheshire Waste Reduction Volunteers – Will attend events and community groups and provide information on recycling.
  5. Marshes Community Benefit Fund, Press release – Copy of the release showing the successful applicants for the first round this year.
