MINUTES OF A MEETING OF DUNHAM HILL & HAPSFORD PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON THE 4TH APRIL 2017 AT 7.40PM IN THE VILLAGE HALL

MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON THE 7TH MARCH 2017

 

 

 

Proposed Cllr Roberts, Seconded Cllr R Fielding that “Minutes of the meeting held on the 7/3/17 be signed as a true and correct record.” All present in favour

 

 

 

ARISING FROM MINUTES.

 

 

 

  1. Broadband – Mr A Arditti was present at the meeting and gave a summary of the present position and the future of the broadband in both villages. The first sign of an improvement will be in 2018
  2. Wind Farm – Cllr. Tiplady gave a report of the meeting held on 10/3/17 and minutes of that meeting were passed to all councillors
  3. Travellers – Cllr. Tiplady reported on the meeting with CW&C on the 10/3/17. Mr R Charnley of CW&C will update the Council at the start of each month with regards to where the cases for the 3 sites is up to. Letter from MP passed to all councillors
  4. Gowy Partnership – Chairman gave a report on the meeting held on 28/3/17 at Alvanley.  Some of the points raised were speed gun training, parking and land at Hapsford.
  5. Gowy Landfill – The Council are awaiting the name of the individual to contact with regard to the dropping of litter from vehicles delivering to site

 

 

 

CLERKS REPORT.

 

 

 

  1. Police Bulletins – Copies passed to all councillors. Telephone number of the local Police Sergeant, Ian Wilson, is 07720997505
  2. CW&C Maintenance Assistance, St Luke’s Church – Correspondence had been lost.  New application has been forwarded and money is likely in the next 4 weeks.
  3. Village Matters – Work has been carried out on Barrow Lane, Water leak at Hapsford, Collection of fly tipping.  Clerk has raised in the last month, hedge on both sides of A56 to Morley Bridge, Chevron sign A56, Telephone box Village Road, Roundalls A56.

  2. Frodsham Town Council – Halton Curve – Meeting to be held on 16/3/17 at 2pm Frodsham Golf Club

CHAIRMANS BUSINESS   

 

 

 

Lengthsman – Chairman had raised with other local Parish Councils the provision of a lengthsperson to be shared amongst the villages.  It was thought best to go through an actual contractor.  We are awaiting information from CW&C regarding names of contractors.

This will be the ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING.
