CLERK’S RETIREMENT & COUNCILLORS RESIGNATION

 

 

 

Clerk will retire on 31 December 2018.

 

A resignation letter has been received from Cllr. Tiplady with immediate effect.

  2. Gowy Partnership – Names have been forwarded for the awards evening on 14/12/18 at Bowshaw Centre
  3. Costing Estimates, Village Cleaning – Chairman is awaiting a reply from CW&C

 

 

 

CLERKS REPORT.

 

 

 

  1. Police – All bulletins forwarded to Councillors.  A meeting of Parish and Town Councils will take place on 13/11/18 at Ellesmere Port Police Station at 6.30pm.  Cllr. Bradley will represent the Council.
  2. Village Matters –
    1. Litter picking  - matter to be taken up with CW&C
    2. A56 and A5117 – Still awaiting drain cleaning and road brushing
    3. Wild flowers – Council agreed to areas to be planted and passed to CW&C
    4. Christmas Tree or Hapsford had been ordered.  Price for electrics for a Christmas tree on the Village Green in Dunham to be requested.

 

 

 

CORRESPONDENCE.

 

 

 

  1. CW&C – Review of polling districts and places. Correspondence passed to all councillors
  2. CW&C – Public Space Protection Order – Order put on all notice boards
  3. Road closures – Hapsford interchange will be closed from 5-8 November.  Barrow Lane – Order came into force on 26th November and will continue for a period not exceeding 18 months.  Notices of both have been put on notice boards
